Pedagogical support is a holistic form of guidance that focuses not only on a child’s academic development, but also on their social, emotional, and personal development. Depending on the child’s individual needs, support may focus on areas such as attention, emotional regulation, adjustment to school and social environments, learning motivation, responsibility, and academic development.

Pedagogical support may be particularly helpful for children and teenagers who: have difficulty maintaining attention and concentration; struggle with emotional or anger regulation; need support adjusting to school or social environments; have low learning motivation; struggle to develop consistent study habits; or would benefit from additional support in their academic development.

I provide pedagogical and academic support, as well as German and English language education, for children and teenagers aged 6–18. Homework support is available for students from 1st through 8th grade.

Depending on the student’s individual needs, I offer: pedagogical support, academic support, homework support, German language education, and English language education. The content and focus of the sessions are tailored to each student individually.

During the initial meeting, I take the time to get to know both the student and the family. Together, we discuss the student’s individual needs, strengths, challenges, and areas for development. Based on this, I create an individualized support plan.

I do not use a rigid, one-size-fits-all program. Sessions are planned according to the student’s age, developmental level, learning style, and individual support needs.

No. My services are not a substitute for psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment. Pedagogical support is an educational and developmental form of guidance that can support areas such as learning processes, social development, responsibility, and personal development. If another form of professional support appears to be necessary, I may recommend that the family consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Yes. Cooperation with the family can play an important role in a child’s development. When needed, I communicate with parents, provide feedback on the process, and discuss the student’s progress with them.

Depending on the student’s needs, sessions can take place either in person or online.

The duration of each session is planned according to the student’s age, attention span, and individual needs. Sessions generally last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Every child and teenager has different needs. For this reason, during the initial meeting we first discuss the student’s individual situation and determine whether my services are the right form of support. My goal is to work with students whom I can meaningfully support through my experience and approach.

Yes. In addition to pedagogical support, I provide academic support, homework support, and individual German and English language education depending on the student’s needs.

Throughout my professional experience, I have worked not only with children’s academic development but also with their social, emotional, and personal development. During my work as a social pedagogue at SOS Children’s Villages Austria, I gained practical experience supporting children and teenagers facing challenges in areas such as attention, emotional and anger regulation, adjustment, and behavior. This experience showed me how different each child’s needs can be and how important it is to approach their development as a whole. This professional background continues to form an important foundation of my work today. My goal is to help students discover their strengths, develop their abilities, and become increasingly independent and confident.
